Festival de la Cosecha (Harvest Festival)

El fin de semana pasado decidimos hacer algo diferente, fuimos al festival de cosecha en el Downtown de Mebane. Esta es una tradicion que se celebra las primeras semanas de octubre al comenzar el otono. La temperatura esta super agradable y pasamos una buena tarde y concluimos con un barbecue en la casa.

Last weekend we decided to do something different, we went to the harvest festival in downtown Mebane. This is a tradition that is celebrated the first week of October at the begining of fall. The temperature was really nice and we had a good afternoon and conclude with a barbecue at home

Weekend at the Blue Ridge Mountains

We had a Great weekend at the mountains (Beech Mountain) http://www.beechmtn.com/

We saw the trees changing their colors, excellent weather (60F). Dinner at the top of the mountains with country music (no bachata was heard).

Liah's School

Alamance Christian School (ACS) is the school that Liah is attending this year. We really like it. Good teachers and nice facilities. Liah Will be taking a field trip to Washington DC in November!!! ( para que entiendan un poco mejor es como si fuera a la ciudad colonial)

My weekend and Hannah

Hannah is my dad niece she comes very often to stay here because her mom needs to stay in the clinic , but they always send gift card to eat and this weekend the sent movies gift cards so we saw Toy Story 3-D in the carousel cinemas , my dad and Hannah went to Barnes and Noble to read books and me and my mom went to Hobby Lobby to see everything (Did not buy anything). On Sunday we went to church and after church we went to Olive garden and for dessert we went to Coldstone (the best ice cream that i ate) ... thats our weekend pretty busy.. but i was so tire because i was in a camp since tuesday until friday in the afternoon so i was so tire because i went to bed like 11 or 12 o'clock every night and woked up at 4 or 5 in the morning and didnt go to sleep again but it was very fun and God talk to me again in this camp...
